Braille

Talofa Lava my name is Emilee and I want to tell you about 'Braille'.
In our reading sessions our group,Kiwi,has been learning about Braille. What we know about 'Braille' is that its raised by dots to help the blind read.(instead of reading it the blind feels the dots). It was invented by the inventor 'Lewis Braille'.

It was really interesting learning with our group about 'Braille' and so many wonders about 'the blind'

Toanga Time

On Fridays the year 7s and 8s have a special thing to goto and its named Taonga Time. Taonga
Time means treasure for all of yous that don't know what it means. We do these sort of thing to learn about different passions of our wonderful teachers.

Each term we move on to another group that has different themes. Our themes is Kapa Haka which Ms T takes,sports which Ms Vaa fusuaunga takes, Music what Mr J takes and other sorts that is so long to say. One of the themes I am in for this term is Music with Mr J. Last Friday we had to do a task to do on our computers. It was so frustrating to do but at least I got some work finished.

I feel very pleased to be in a group with lots of experience.

My Values DLO Term One

Last term our class was studying about values. My value was the word learning. I was really shocked of how I saw my DLO results. So this term I am trying to focus more often to get a higher result.

My Creative Name

In room 22 we have been learning about the word creativity.
As a part of our research we know about creativity is that its bringing your ideas to create a whole new design. When we had studied about creativity our class did a project of working on our name in a creative way. So this is how I did my creative name.

Term One Relflection

pleased: Homework

One of the things I was pleased with was my homework assignments Last term.
I was given good grades for my work habits, behavior and academic progress.
It was surprising to see my results and reckoned I would do better.

Improve:Writing
bad

What I would like to improve on is my writing.
Last term my writing was totally BORING! and people would just stop reading.
So This term I would want to work a bit harder by hooking people into my writing.


Overall:how my term went
disappointing

My term went well but I haven’ t been completing the tasks I needed to do.
I would want to archive more by focusing and taking charge of myself.
